Gilas Pilipinas is in the second round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers, in a six-team group with Australia and New Zealand (results from the first round carry over) plus Iran, Jordan and Syria, whom Gilas plays home and away. The World Cup is in Qatar from August 27 to September 12, 2027.

## How teams qualify
Asia and Oceania send seven teams besides host Qatar: the top three of each second-round group and the better of the two fourth-placed teams. Second-round games are played in the August 2026, November 2026 and February 2027 windows.

## First-round results
Gilas beat Guam twice (87–46 away on November 28, 2025 and 95–71 at home on December 1, 2025) and lost to New Zealand (66–69, February 26, 2026) and Australia (66–93, March 1, 2026) before the July window.
