From early November to mid-March, Philippine time is 13 hours ahead of US Eastern time; for the rest of the year it is 12 hours ahead. A 7:30 PM Eastern tip-off is 8:30 AM the next day in Manila in winter and 7:30 AM in spring and during most of the playoffs.

## Why the gap changes during the season
The Philippines stays on UTC+08:00 all year. The eastern United States moves its clocks: Eastern Standard Time (UTC−05:00) runs from the first Sunday of November to the second Sunday of March, and Eastern Daylight Time (UTC−04:00) the rest of the year. The Philippines does not change its clocks, so the gap is 13 hours in winter and 12 hours otherwise.

## How Iskoran dates NBA games
Every NBA game on Iskoran is filed under the Philippine calendar date of its tip-off. A game played on a Tuesday night in New York is listed on Wednesday, the day Filipino fans watch it.
